Kenda Reimer

I currently live in Victoria, BC with my husband and youngest of 4 kids. I have been offering Spiritual Direction for a number of years both in person, online, and at retreats. I also train others in spiritual formation through seminars and retreats.

The Spiritual Exercises were a challenge for me when I first participated as I felt great internal resistance - like this kind of thing doesn't fit my personality. But, I felt strongly that this was what God was inviting me into for the next season. It has developed a more intimate relationship and a greater sense of God's fondness for me to a depth nothing else has brought about and this affects every other aspect of my life. This is why I lead the Exercises for others. It's an incredible opportunity to experience God relationally - to practice discernment and intentionally give undivided attention in a new way for a season into your relationship with God even if it's outside your comfort zone.
